The Cousteau book is also kind of a nod to a later Wes Anderson film, of course.  But he couldn’t have known that at the time, right?  Also, could Schwartzman look any younger in Rushmore?  I mean, look at The Darjeeling Limited.  Dude is hairy as f*ck.  I know he was playing a high school kid, but damn!  Did they have to hand him a razor in between every scene?
